Rapid growth in different sectors and technological change, demand skilled manpower to accelerate the developmental process. Cutthroat competition in today’s globalized world has made securing a basic job very challenging without skills as per the industry requirements. In present Indian scenario, skilling is crucial for national growth and to boost our economy as currently only 2% of Indian youth is formally skilled.
Through our vocational skill program, we are providing opportunities to socially and economically deprived youth for improving their existing skill set or learning the new trades to provide them employable skills and entrepreneurship opportunities. Our training model is based on practical experience gained at the field. On field counselling, exposure visits, on hand practical, earn while learn activities, linkage with employers and signing MoUs, is unique key features of program. Along with industry specific skills, students also get training in personality development and basic computers for making them ready to as per market requirements.
We are working towards strengthening the sustainable WASH practices through capacity building, advocacy, raising public awareness and by sharing knowledge and technical assistance within community and beyond that.

At RES we recognize that empowering women is one of the primary ways through which we can
achieve our organizational goals and vision. It is thus that we’ve engaged ourselves in the past
and continue to work on number of projects directly or indirectly targeting empowerment of
women. It is through these programs that we aim to anchor the autonomy of women by providing
them with sustainable opportunities ensuring their development. Our interventions are designed
after careful analysis, study, need assessment surveys and so on, to increase the authenticity
and impact of our projects. We have conducted vocational training like Sewing training,
beautician courses, financial literacy programs, Digital literacy initiatives to help women
achieve self-sufficiency and financial independence.
We believe that empowerment and autonomy of women along with improvement in their political,
social, economic and health status is highly significant for achieving sustainable development
in any part of the world. Today, Women are facing threats to their lives, health and well- being
as a result of being overburdened with work and of their lack of power and influence in various
aspects of life. Especially in countries like India, women receive less formal education than
men, and at the same time, women's own knowledge, abilities and coping mechanisms often go
unrecognized by the society. The power relations that impede women's attainment of healthy and
fulfilling lives operate at many levels of society and thus women empowerment is critical factor
in a developing country like India and it is through these following interventions that the
organization is working towards women empowerment.
• Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with knowledge, skills and
self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process, so it is a focus area
in our initiatives.
• Our programs also target rural men and women’s conscious raising and awareness building
initiatives to educate their girl child and non-discriminatory attitude in providing quality
life and future for both girls and boys.
• Skill development initiatives are a major aspect of our interventions for women which helps to
create better employment opportunities and increase the income generation per household.
• Promoting women’s health through regular camps, workshops on child-bearing, follow-ups and so
on.
Millions of people die in India due to insufficient access to health services, poor quality care and non- utilisation of available health schemes because of lack of awareness. Our focus is to improve access of healthcare services along with quality care. We promote access to affordable and sustainable health services to beneficiaries by providing health counselling, organising health camps, operating Mobile health van, conducting awareness program on various health issues and sensitizing the community about various government running health schemes.

Health Camp
We at RES believe that healthcare should be accessible, affordable and available to all, for it
is a basic human right and no section of the population should be depraved of quality
healthcare; be it infrastructural, community, primary or tertiary healthcare platforms. It is
our core belief that healthcare is a necessity and an individual’s socio-economic status should
not impact the availability of healthcare to certain sections of the population.
With this attitude the organization has adopted a manifold approach to tackle various aspects of
healthcare in different parts of the country impacting diverse sections of the population. It
includes community level initiatives, capacity building initiatives, infrastructural
initiatives, doorstep healthcare services, Mobile Medical Units, awareness raising, free medical
camps across the country and so on; we even work on different forms of non-mainstream illnesses
which includes counselling services and other forms of palliative care as deliverables for the
economically weaker sections.
Through our various initiatives the impact has varied as well including increased nutrition
levels for pregnant women and children, building sensitization in the community through building
a network of strong volunteer base and awareness raising initiatives in the field of health,
hygiene and sanitation. Our initiative of Mobile Medical Units and Doorstep healthcare delivery
services we have targeted among others the old-aged population and providing them with easy and
accessible healthcare system delivery reaching out to them personally and even take constant
follow-ups with the impacted population to ensure optimum positive results.
Rural development is the process of improving the quality of life and economic well-being of people living in rural areas, often relatively isolated and sparsely populated areas.
Our rural development programs are based on holistic development approach which focuses on
providing livelihood opportunities, developing infrastructure, promoting education,
improving health care facilities reaching out to every individual in the community, and
facilitate getting food and nutrition security for inclusive rural development.
As a part of integrated village development, we are working extensively in the following
areas-
•Capacity Building of farmers
By training farmers in new farming technologies, organic farming & crop selection
practices we have significantly impacted the individual earnings of families by increasing
their productivity by 30-40%.
•Infrastructure Development
Construction of community hall & toilets, refurbishing of aganwadi and Public health
centers, installation of community water system and street solar lights, women study center,
developing rainwater conservation system, vermicomposting as a part of infrastructure
development.
•Health Camps
Organizing general & specialized heath camps and awareness sessions as per community
requirement
•Skill Training
A major USP of our projects is the training that we provide to the youth in various skill
trades with the aim of improving and increasing their livelihood opportunities and we ensure
guaranteed placements in the trade taught to the youth. This is a result of an extensive
feasibility study, market analysis, mobilization, training and certification method provided
to the youth.
•Self Help Group
Formation of Self -Help groups to encourage collective efforts, self- employment, financial
independence.
True education is beyond earning degrees it is more than bookish knowledge. Education means inculcating moral values, positive thinking, attitude of helping, attitude of giving to society and ethical values these kind of students are only able to bring changes in society.

Education gives us a knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It
develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of
view on things in life. People debate over the subject of whether education is the only thing
that gives knowledge.
Higher levels of education are associated with a wide range of positive outcomes - including
better health and wellbeing, higher social trust, greater political interest, lower political
cynicism, and less hostile attitudes towards immigrants.
Through Education programs we are aiming to equip children with knowledge, skills and
interpersonal competences required for their development. Our interventions are focused on
different aspects of education sector for holistic development of children.
RES education program is focus on improving the access to quality education by educational
infrastructure development, digital literacy, develop smart class and libraries.
Infrastructure is a core component of any educational institution, especially for schools as
they are a second home for children and play a very crucial role in their development. Good
Infrastructure aids in developing a healthy comfort level among the students which in turn
contributes to the development of safe spaces for children. It is believed that good
infrastructure inspires young learners to dream big and enjoy their learning environment leaving
a long-lasting positive impact on their holistic development.
Ro Purifier - A healthy mind resides in a healthy body and thus a clean and healthy lead-free
water is a necessity in protecting the health of young learners giving their bodies the proper
nutrients and minerals. A good quality RO prevents bacterial infections and other contaminated
water related disease that often hamper their health.
Smart class – Smart Class is the new generation form of technology getting into the education
sector making it more fun, informative, interactive and engaging for the young learners leaving
a lasting impact on the students learning and understanding of basic concepts.
Library - A well-equipped library with a mood-lifting ambience plays a very important role in
encouraging students and developing their interest towards exploring different contours of
knowledge.
Computer literacy- In the current globalized world the IT sector plays a huge role and the art
of using computers efficiently and effectively is something that all students should know, it is
a need of the hour. The Computer Literacy classes shall help the students to learn basic
computer skills and applications which will help them in their everyday lives and further aid
them in their learning and growth.
As weather is to a place in the same analogy culture is to people even though in a more well defined manner and irrespective of time.Culture sets and defines the boundaries of various communities and helps in better understanding of the development of an individual. It in no way retrains the activity of an individual but brings about the unique out of the varied aspects of ones doing.
Many mistake it to be a tribal restricted thing, but in a country like ours with every passing
kilometer in a journey, you might witness the change in cultural behaviors of people from
clothes to language to cuisine.
Lets take in a case for better understanding,
A North Indian finds a job in the southern part of India, what aspects he looks forward to
before joining and to adjust in that particular area?
1. Firstly he’ll study about the location
2. Try learn the language to communicate with the locals
3. Study about the food served there and locations where he/ she could find their own staple
food.
By the time the person shifts there, he/she knows about the beginners facts and still he/she
takes time adjusting with various aspects of that place. All this complies, the Cultural
adjustment of an individual.
Now the question is what exactly is Cultural awareness?
When defined cultural awareness, it’s the understanding of cultural differences and being aware
about different cultural values, beliefs and perceptions.
This isn’t restricted to people who
are keen to know things but also helps them in their workspace, where they communicate to build
an even environment for people with different cultures.
It helps to reduce the intercultural competence, as it helps people to better understand what
might lead to hurting somebody’s developmental sentiments before they put forward any statement.
Hence reduces conflicts on whole.
Now question comes up, how to promote cultural awareness amongst people?
On grassroot level:
Mostly the best grassroot education of people begin when they are too young to corporate any
difference, that is the school going time. If at that point they are trained to generate hate
for cultures, they grow into an intolerant human being towards the varied cultures, hence
following practices should be introduced in schools:
1. Promote students of different cultures, talk openly about it infront of the group.
2. Celebrating different cultural festivals and involve every student in it irrespective of the
culture.
3. Letting students wear their cultural attires in the form of fancy dress.
Awareness:
To every aspect, the knowledge and tolerance toward an idea is very necessary. Hence spreading
cultural awareness in the form of art is the best way, hence involving more and more people in
cultural performances like native dances, promoting the use of their own language wherever they
could and singing their native songs helps in better understanding.
Even the newly proposed policy of education i.e. NEP proposes the use of the local dialect to
educate the masses so that they remember their cultural heritage in upcoming time too. Hence,
everything holds the same importance as your own ideology learn to respect that.
People have got in terms with so much of comfort and low cost measures, that the they’ve forgotten there’s something far more advanced and essential thing is getting affected. The answer to this is obvious but people put heed to more materialistic things than the ones that led them to be what they are right now, i.e. the Environment.
People have got in terms with so much of comfort and low cost measures, that the they’ve
forgotten there’s something far more advanced and essential thing is getting affected. The
answer to this is obvious but people put heed to more materialistic things than the ones that
led them to be what they are right now, i.e. the Environment.
There’s a saying, Man has become his own enemy. This idiom has various aspects for us to see but
the most important of us all which doesn’t really vary with places, time, gender or ethnicities
is Harnessing the environment that we’ve been given in bonus to the life we’re leading.
Now the question is what really is Environmental awareness?
Technically if we get into definitions, it means to understand the fragility of our environment
and the importance of its protection. To elaborate it means that the people spread in the
name:
AWARENESS
METHODS OF PROTECTION
DIVERSE EFFECTS CAUSED SO FAR AND EXPECTED IN FUTURE
For this purpose, the United Nations even proposed a day on 5 th June every year as WORLD
ENVIRONMENTS DAY in which many people from individual level to schools to organizations bring
about various campaigns for awareness of the people to planting trees.
How to come forward and bring about awareness on grassroot level?
Awareness:
1. Many people need to be reminded of what it might look like in upcoming years if the same
irresponsibility continues, there’s no going back
2. Make them aware about the natural resources and their daily activities that have led to its
deficit.
3. How extinction has led to imbalance of ecology.
4. Various related hazards related to it:
Global warming
Ozone layer depletion
Many other effects that have started doing the damage
Introduction of the three R’s:
1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
Awareness at grassroot levels:
In schools, building the basic habits and inculcating good and environment savior habits can be
promoted by:
1. Asking them to switch off the electrical appliances when not in use.
2. Promoting clean drives in the school campus itself.
3. Telling them the use of Three coloured dustbin.
4. Banning the use of plastic in school premises.
Hence, this Earth is ours and taking it for granted may now seem a better choice for now but in
coming years, this lavish and ungrateful style of living is going to pay back but negatively.
Better take precautions before rather than regretting later of what could have been done for the
savior.
